TOOL INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1 Assemble information about the project to be evaluated. Required information includes: Project Summary Sheet, soil survey map, access to web-based aerial photography and map viewer, and capital improvement program project information.
Step 2 Enter project evaluation information in green cells to document evaluation process and determine project type
Step 3 Determine potentially applicable sustainability practices from list below. Note that TAB 6 includes summary information about each practice. Click links to review information.
Step 4 Enter practice evaluation scores in green cells to determine suitability levels. Provide evaluator comments in green cell at bottom of sheet to document evaluation assumptions or other information.
Step 5 Review summary of matrix results. Orange cells are calculated from other cells.
Step 6 Review supplemental information about suggested sustainability practices.
