SARA’s Intergovernmental and Community Relations Division provides information to citizens, governmental agencies, the media, and other interested parties seeking information about SARA’s mission, services, and projects.
 This Public Information site provides information about:
- SARA board and other regional water-related planning meetings,
- SARA news and current project information,
- Upcoming events,
- SARA education partnerships, and
- Links to water-related agencies and to government sites throughout SARA’s four-county district of Bexar, Wilson, Karnes, and Goliad counties.

Environmental Advisory Committee
The primary function of the advisory committee is to serve as the comprehensive public participation group that reviews and provides input on the environmental studies and programs at SARA. In addition, to developing an educated constituent base, the committee will advise the SARA Board of Directors about environmental issues within the basin. The advisory committee will have a maximum of 25 members, including co-chairs, but may vary from time to time. Also a technical committee will be formed to assist the Advisory Committee. Those participating on the technical committee will be staff from local, state, and federal governments.
