The Texas Outdoor Family Workshop is a two-day weekend workshop designed for families. It is an opportunity for any family to learn new outdoor skills—skills not only associated with hunting and fishing—but also useful for many other outdoor pursuits. This workshop is for your family if…

• your family has never tried outdoor activities but would like an opportunity to learn
• your family has never camped, fished, hiked, etc. or is completely new to the outdoors

The mission of the Texas Outdoor Family Workshop is to help families acquire basic outdoor skills so they can enjoy the great Texas outdoors together. At the workshop your family will learn camping, cooking and outdoor safety skills as well as have an opportunity to try various outdoor activities like fishing, hiking, archery, kayaking and much more.

The workshop is recommended for families with children between the ages of 5 and 12. Please have one adult over the age of 18 attend for every two children.

All equipment, instruction, supplies, lodging, and meals are included in the workshop fee.
