SARA’s Park Services Department has been conducting Junior Angler Clinics every weekday in June since 2003. Over 800 youth have participated in the program since its inception.
Youth participants, aged 6 – 15, learn the basics of fish identification, casting, knot-tying, rules and regulations and resource conservation. The clinic ends with some real fishing practice time on the lake shore.
There is a $5.00 supply fee for youth participants and free entry into the parks is included for up to two (2) adults accompanying the youth participant.
Each participating youth will also receive a free kid’s meal certificate from Sea Island Shrimp House.

Clinics are scheduled from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, Monday – Friday, for each week in June beginning June 2, 2008 and ending June 30, 2008.
