Hours Of Operation:
The Park is open 24 hours daily (including holidays), public entry or reentry will not be allowed between the hours of 10:00 pm and 6:00 am. The Park Store is open from 6:00am to 10:00pm 7 days per week.
Lake Activities: (3,100 surface acres)
Pleasure boating, fishing, water skiing, personal watercraft, canoeing and kayaking.
Park Activities: (323 acres)
Picnicking, primitive camping, hiking, nature study, birding, bank fishing, and pier fishing.

Disabled Veterans
Veterans of the United States who, as a result of military service, have a service-oriented disability as defined by the Department of Veterans Affairs, consisting of the loss of the use of a lower extremity or of a 60% disability rating, and who are receiving compensation from the United States government because of the disability, will be issued an annual pass at no cost, and not be required to pay an entrance fee. Disabled veterans must establish eligibility upon application; contact Park Stores for further information.
Facilities Available:
Boat launch ramps, lighted fishing piers, fish cleaning station, picnic tables, public restrooms, primitive camp sites, hiking and nature trail, and well stocked Park Store; including bait, tackle, picnic supplies, and ice.
Rentals Available:
Shoreline Sites, Group areas and motorboats. Motorboats rated for two adults or for one adult and two youth for a fee of $15.00/hr with a two hour minimum. An "8-to-5" special is available for $99.00, and offers customers the ability to reserve the boat in advance.
Fishing Report:
Access a recorded fishing report 24 hours daily by calling (210) 302-3640. The report is updated weekly to bring you the latest in fishing activity, baits, and areas to fish, or view the fishing report under Related Links.
