Jackson Nature Park

Jackson Nature Park is a 50 acre park owned by Wilson County and managed by the San Antonio River Authority. Activities that can be enjoyed at this park include hiking, nature study, bird watching and picnicking.

Location:

Wilson County Road 401 at Cibolo Creek
Between Floresville and Stockdale

Hours of Operation: Daily 9:00 a.m. to dusk
Admission: $1.00 per person

Trail Use: Pedestrians only. Stay on designated trails. Use caution: native plants and animals can bite, cut or sting. Closed-toe footwear is recommended. On-site water will be available in mid-October 2010.

Branch River Park, Goliad

Branch River park is a 4.2 acre park that links Goliad's historic courthouse square to the San Antonio River, as well as the Angel of Goliad Hike & Bike Trail and the Ferry Street River Access Site.

Location:

East Fannin Street between Commercial St. and Market St.

Hours of Operation:

Daily, dawn to dusk

Helton-San Antonio River Nature Park
(Under Development)

The Helton-San Antonio River Nature Park is a 98-acre park owned and operated by the San Antonio River Authority. This is currently under development, but will be open for limited day use in 2011.

Location:

Wilson County, FM 775 between the San Antonio River at CR 128, outside the community of Calaveras.
